Edgewood Plantation Bed & Breakfast
Edgewood Plantation was built in 1902 by Jefferson Davis Baughman. It is a Queen Anne Victorian-style home with a bell tower and/or turret nestled on ten acres among many beautiful towering trees. Its significant period was 1900-1924 and it is registered with the National Register of Historic Places. The home is located one mile west of Farmerville, Louisiana on Hwy. 2. The home originally had 13 rooms with high ceilings and hardwood floors, with beautiful crown molding detail.
The Belle Tower Room
Contains a queen size mahogany bed from the Philippines with a 7 foot matching richly carved armoire. Silk drapes and tassels add to the romance of this room. Curl up in the noted nook/turret area where light is provided by a beautiful chandelier while reading your favorite book or step outside your own private entrance while relaxing in a rocking chair on the wraparound porch area.

The Magnolia Room
Contains two full size beds and a sofa. An antique oval shaped mirror dresser and desk. Southern Lace and quilts adorn this room. As you look out through the windows on the east side you will note a beautiful magnolia tree. Grab a good book while sitting in front of the remote control fireplace. The Magnolia room has a very large handicap accessible shower/bathroom. Step outside onto the wraparound porch where a swing awaits you right outside your door.
