Scouting History
This waterway is the feeder from Lake Claiborne down to Lake D’Arbonne. It travels through three parishes.
Lies and Legends
This is a prime location for fishing and you will see fishing camps along the way, one of which claims to have taken a snake as long as your kayak! At the mid-way point of this trail is Ken’s Landing which features a picnic table, trash cans, and a rope swing.
Great place to stop for a picnic and swim. Go on further and the trail narrows and becomes much more lush.
